"Shopping and buying" in the perspective of a layman "Purchasing" in the marketing terminology means giving money in exchange for something that we receive. To put it simply it's trading. Barter was one method in the times to trade goods for products where no money or calculation took place. For instance, a kg of rice was exchanged in exchange for one kilogram of wheat, and it went on. The days of exchange have passed. Today, it's all about money. People started to dream big when they began to earn an increasing amount. It's like people buy things because they've reached the status they have and often because it's owned by their neighbours. The the ownership of something is worth above the price. Market is defined by books as "A place where buyers and sellers meet and exchange their products and services". It has evolved into an opportunity to earn money. The public has become obsessed with shopping and examining the latest products. It's dependent on the person who think about it. Some purchase because they like it, while others shop as a pastime, a way to relax and others set up a scenario where they can shop and it goes on. There is no end to the possibilities. A person's desire to shop is based on the attitude and buying habits of the person. Quality of products as well as customer satisfaction and the way the seller conducts business play an significant role in bringing shoppers to their store. Generally discounts; good shopping Sữa hữu cơ environment, customer relationship management, value added services etc are some of the strategies/activities they perform to keep loyal customers. In addition, the availability of product as well as services, a range of brand-name goods as well as the variety of items and store ambience are considered crucial. Shopping is always a blast. There are those who plan to go shopping. For others, it simply happens. There's a term "window shopping". It would be wonderful to define it. It is the most economical method to be satisfied. It's the only way that people can do with great pleasure and joy because nothing is taken out of their pockets. Shopping at the window is enjoyable if the mall is air-conditioned and well-scented with a pleasant scent and the atmosphere of the store is lively. Wow. I'm sure that everyone will have had the experience. Festivals always start with shopping. This is the sole culture that is followed across the globe. What can we purchase for festival time? Chocolates, sweets such as stationery, clothing fruit and flowers, dress material junk food, etc. The list is unending. "Hey, come let us see what we find there, will this shop be okay for us?, where do we get branded clothes? " Are some of the issues we'll be able to observe. Specialty stores are able to earn lots in this time. If I consider specialty shops, the phrase brand loyalty pops into my head. It's when someone sticks to a specific brand. They don't accept other brands. "Somehow I want it" is their mindset. Men are able to choose a variety of brands they can choose from while women do not. I am a huge fan of shopping. I purchase anything that's worthwhile and worth the price. My customers often ask me, "Why did you take Retail management as an elective paper in your marketing" and my response to them "I love shopping and moreover retailing sector is coming up". There's always a question that is always on my head. Why do people buy? The real reason is due to the exterior appearance (packaging) as well as the high cost. The packaging plays a significant aspect in the sales of the product. The most effective example is FMCG (Fast transporting consumer products) products. Chocolates, biscuits, shampoos and tooth pastes, cosmetics and many more fall into the FMCG category. I think that purchases made on impulse are affected by the packaging. I think that targeting children would make any business succeed. Kids have a huge impact on the lives of families. From food to clothes parents allow them to choose. In the past, the way of buying gifts for children used to be "I have bought this for you". It has completely changed. The message is now "see if this will suit you, if you don't like it you choose". Animations and cartoon wrappers do really matter. Good color and attractive designs are important. As I said in the past, I am a sucker for shopping. I think that people should be able to master the ability to observe the things within their shopping environment. It's fascinating to observe the variety of products, response of salespersons to the customers, the displays in and out of the store, the strategies employed to attract buyers, the lighting of the products, the maintenance and more. The delight of watching customers taking pleasure in shopping and purchasing the things they desire is not easily expressed in a short amount of time. Shopping itself is a vast matter. My view of shopping is not similar to other people's. But it doesn't have to be. I think a salesperson could bring in a lot of people who visit his shop. Advertising, promotion branding, and even the location of the shop are all important externally but inside the store the way a customer is handled is crucial. In a store, a section shouldn't have excessive salespeople. If the number of customers is excessive then it can be helpful. If there are a few customers and it is a source of irritation for customers. Unorganized processes like repeated requests and denying the merchandise, or not paying focus on one particular customer can occur. I've witnessed people decide whether to return to the same store or go to the actual counter to pay. If they're satisfied they will affirm, "This is the shop I was looking for, awesome service, great shopping experience and so on". If they aren't happy with the experience, even though everything is great, they say "I have never had such a bad experience, they don't have anything with them other than their salesmen and so on". It reminds me of the statement "One satisfied customer can bring 'n' number of customers". This is a "Word of mouth strategy". I want to share with you my experiences as a consumer when I was shopping at points. I believe this is the best way for me to communicate my thoughts. A lot of people may recognize the store itself. I've listed them all in general. * Advertising according to themes. If pink is the color of the day, the entire shop would be decorated with the same hue. * Customer relations. They typically send cards to wish birthdays and weddings. * Informing us about their latest collection that has arrived, promotions and more via email, phone or SMS. Displays that are attractive, especially in the jewelry stores in order to attract interest * Display and lighting of the products within the category to which to which they are. * Thanking the customer for their decision or suggesting to customers to consider it if it is suitable for their needs. * Allowing customers to pick their preferences. * Fun activities inside the shop like dressing a person as a cartoon character in order to keep the kids entertained so that parents can shop without hassle. * In some stores, customers can select songs of their choice by setting up a pay jukebox
